first of all - let me apologize for the poor quality of this picture - but as you will soon find out i really don't feel that bad about posting it. so i went out to the red boot drive-in yesterday with neil and sarah to get some food before lost started. we were running kind of late (we left my place around 7:20 and lost starts at 8) so i wasn't sure if i should make the attempt or not but once i hit acadamy we decided to press on. with great anticipation we arrived at the red boot with about 25 minutes to spare, the open sign was on and all was well with world - or so it seemed. i quickly snapped this picture while neil tried the door only to find that it was locked. the less noticeable non-lit sign displayed the fact that they closed at 7. heartbreaking.  Posted by Picasa

Angelo was Far to nice in his posting. First of all there were TWO open signs, and it's not like it was a few minutes past seven it was a half hour past. If your closed take down and turn off your damn flourcent open signs... It's down right mean to give someone false hope like that. All some of us have to look forward to in life is a good tv show or two (lost and 24) and a winnipeg FatBoy and when one of those is dangled in front of you and then snached away like that it makes you think, and who wants to think!!?? I've heard that the red boot has a fine burger? But it's going to be a long time before i find out, every action must have a consequence or anarchy would rule, thus i shall not visit the red boot until i have visited every other fatboyery in the city twice and hope all that read this to do the same....

SHAME ON YOU RED BOOT SHAME

you must know the hours of operation for your favorite burger places or yes you will be very disappointed when you get that particular craving.
